Clyde Shelton bekennt sich des Mordes schuldig und beginnt ein erpresserisches Spiel mit Rice: Entweder dieser setzt seine Position für eine Änderung des Rechtssystems ein oder Schlüsselfiguren der damaligen Gerichtsverhandlung werden sterben.
